About Me

Hi, I’m Rachael — a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and founder of Wild Science Nutrition.

I’m a born-and-raised Cali girl who grew up in the 90s in a loving home, powered by video games and Cheez-Its. In my 20s I was really active—playing soccer, snowboarding, always on the go—but I wasn’t truly prioritizing my health. I drank my weight in margaritas and lived by the “I’ll sleep when I’m dead” mentality.

That pace followed me into my 30s. I got really into Orange Theory (HIIT) and intermittent fasting. On paper, I looked “healthy,” but behind the scenes, things were quietly falling apart. I became an adrenaline junkie; if I missed a workout, my whole day was ruined.

My menstrual cycle became irregular. My digestion was a mess. I was waking up multiple times a night. My periods were crippling. I had frequent UTIs and so many rounds of antibiotics I lost count. I didn’t feel like myself and I could see my health sliding downhill.

Between 2018 and 2020, I started digging for answers and discovered a lot was going on under the surface: two infected root canals, a tongue tie, blood sugar dysregulation, gut dysbiosis, multiple food sensitivities, hypothalamic amenorrhea, and adrenal fatigue. I had to learn the hard way that the way I was treating my body wasn’t sustainable.

When I went to my doctor, I was offered pills and quick fixes—but no one talked about why all of this was happening. For years, the idea of a “root cause” never even crossed my mind. So I became my own advocate. I started listening to my body, doing my own research, and following the clues my symptoms were trying to give me.

Eventually, I found an NTP who changed everything. She helped me make sense of the overwhelming amount of advice out there and created a truly bio-individual plan just for me. Over time, I realized that the real work wasn’t chasing more protocols or gadgets—it was changing the way I nourish and care for my body.

You can spend a million dollars on supplements, biohacking tools, and the latest “miracle” protocol from social media, but if you’re not supporting your body with the right foundations, you’re wasting your time, your money, and ultimately your health.

Walking through my own healing is what lit the fire in me. It set me on a straighter, more grounded path—and along the way I realized my passion: helping others tune into their bodies, find the root causes of what’s going on, and learn how to truly nourish themselves.

That’s why I do what I do today through Wild Science Nutrition. 🌱

Stay wild. Stay nourished.
