What I Do

If you’ve spent any time in a doctor’s office or hospital, you’ve seen how our medical system works.

If you break your arm, have a serious infection, or need emergency help, conventional medicine is incredible. Surgeons, ER doctors, and medications save lives every single day, and I’m genuinely grateful we have access to that level of care.

But what about when you don’t feel like yourself and you’re looking for answers?

Maybe:

You’ve been given a chronic illness label, but the treatments aren’t helping you feel better

The medication that’s supposed to “help” is actually making you feel worse

You sense there has to be more that can be done than just adding another prescription

You want the symptoms to go away and you want to understand what’s causing them

Have you ever left an appointment feeling unheard, rushed, or empty-handed?

I have.

It’s usually not your doctor’s fault. Our healthcare system is designed to manage symptoms, not necessarily to restore function or prevent illness. It’s not built to spend an hour connecting the dots in your story, history, stress, diet, sleep, and your environment.

That’s where my work comes in.

What’s a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner?

If you’re new to Nutritional Therapy, you’re not alone. It can sound complex, but it’s actually very practical.

A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP):

Looks for root causes rather than just chasing symptoms

Supports the body with foundational nutrition and lifestyle

Respects that your body is designed to heal when given the right inputs and environment

Imagine you’re in a sinking boat. There’s a hole in the bottom, and you’re frantically using a bucket to bail out water. That’s symptom management.

Now imagine you plug the hole first. You can still use the bucket to clear out the water, but now you’re actually able to float.

That’s the difference between only treating symptoms and addressing the root cause. My work focuses on fixing the leak before clearing out the water.

How I Work

When we work together, we look at the whole picture—not just the one symptom that’s screaming the loudest.

I will:

Listen for patterns in your story, your symptoms, routines, history, and goals

Connect the dots between digestion, blood sugar, stress, sleep, movement, environment, and more

Personalize a plan that fits your real life—meals, habits, sleep support, and stress strategies

Adjust as we go, checking in and refining your plan so you can actually feel the difference over time.

This is collaborative. I’m not handing you a one-size-fits-all protocol. We build something that works for your body together.

Scope & Transparency

I believe you deserve clarity about what I do and what I don’t do.

I provide nutrition and lifestyle education and support

I do not diagnose, treat, or cure disease

I can collaborate with your healthcare provider when that’s helpful

I prioritize simple, foundational steps first before adding complexity

I help you understand what may be driving your symptoms instead of just suppressing them

I help you become more in tune with your body and its signals

I equip you with tools so you can participate in your own healing, not feel dependent on me

Your body is not broken. It often just needs the right inputs, some nervous system support, and a clear plan. My job is to help shine a light on what your body’s been trying to say—and to support you as you course-correct at the root.
